The best photos for a haven video

Framing, light, and likeness: small photo choices that give your bending debut a stronger starting point.

Show the face clearly

Front-facing or a slight angle, eyes readable, nothing covering the cheeks or jaw. Sunglasses, heavy filters, and beauty modes all cost the engine likeness it cannot recover.

Shoot in clear, even light

Window light or overcast daylight beats dramatic backlight. The engine re-lights the scene anyway — a flat, honest source photo gives it the most accurate features to preserve.

Half-body is the sweet spot

A head-and-shoulders crop gives the face maximum detail; a half-body shot gives the wraps and armor room to read. For skyline and ruins scenes, more of you in frame helps the engine dress the whole figure.

Two people can bend

Couples and small groups work — keep faces similar in size and unblocked. Big groups dilute the elemental styling, so crop tight if you can.

It does not have to be you

Friends and family make great benders — the sibling fancast nobody asked for. Just make sure you have their permission to use the photo.
